In Chhattisgarh, the state government has taken a big decision for the candidates of Public service Commission
(PSC). chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has given instructions to bring changes in the system of finalizing the
documents of the Commission’s examinations. Following the instructions of the chief minister, the state
government has sent a proposal to the Public service Commission to increase the period of scrutiny of answer
sheets and documents of the Commission's examinations to two years.
Proposal to extend the period of answer seat selection
In fact, the rule of burning answer sheets and documents of PSC exams has been in practice in the state of
Chhattisgarh for a long time. The chief minister has given necessary instructions to bring changes in this. As per
the instructions of the chief minister, the state government has sent a proposal to the Public service Commission
to extend the period of finalization of answer sheet and other documents by two years. After this the documents
will be stored for 2 years.
Controversy after allegations of irregularities in merit list
Let us tell you that irregularities are being alleged in the merit list of PSC 2021. bjp and PSC candidates have
alleged that relatives of PSC Chairman and congress leaders have been selected. This matter has reached
Bilaspur High Court. bjp has expressed doubt on the selection of 18 people in the court. After this, the court has
also ordered to stop their appointment. The next hearing in this case will be on 6 October. But the controversy of
irregularities in PSC results has become a big issue in the elections of Chhattisgarh.
