congress has surrounded the government over the incident of a tribal woman's death after rape in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. congress leader Vikrant Bhuria said that a fast track court should be formed for this case, so that the culprits are given the harshest punishment. A 45-year-old tribal woman died after being allegedly raped by two people in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh. police gave this information on Sunday.

An official said that the police have arrested two accused in connection with the incident that took place on saturday in Roshni police station area of Khalwa tehsil, about 90 km from the district headquarters. Bhuria told the media here that the administration is maintaining silence on the gruesome incident of Khandwa.

Crime against women figures reached 26 percent - Vikrant Bhuria

The congress leader questioned whether the law and order in madhya pradesh has completely gone out of control and when the chief minister himself is the home minister, should such incidents happen? Bhuria claimed that rape incidents have increased by 18 percent and in the case of crimes against tribal women, this figure has reached 26 percent. He alleged, "The bjp government of the state has no control over liquor mafia and criminals."

Bhuria said, "Prime minister Narendra Modi is coming to bhopal in madhya pradesh on May 31. Look at the irony that in the state where most crimes against women are happening, rapes are happening, a 'Maha Mahila Sammelan' is being organized for women." He said, "I would like to tell the prime minister that before reaching madhya pradesh, decide how you will ensure the safety of the sisters here. Along with this, mp should be given a full-time home Minister. A fast track court should be formed for this case, so that the culprits are given the harshest punishment."

Bhuria said, "After this incident, the madhya pradesh congress Committee has formed a three-member team, which will investigate it thoroughly. We will fight this issue with full force."
