The 26th foundation day of the nationalist congress party (NCP) was celebrated with great enthusiasm in pune on tuesday (10 June). The special thing was that on this day, both the party's founder sharad pawar and ajit pawar celebrated the foundation day through separate programs in pune, which once again gave a clear indication of two factions of NCP. But this time the focus of the discussion was the statement of sharad pawar faction's ncp state president Jayant Patil. Jayant Patil said, "Pawar Saheb gave me a lot of opportunities. Gave me a tenure of 7 years. Now the party should give a chance to new faces. I request Saheb in front of everyone to relieve me from the post of state president. After all, this party belongs to Pawar Saheb and he has the right to take a decision on this. We still have a long way to go."

Jayant Patil's statement created political stir

Jayant Patil's statement has created a stir in political circles. When deputy chief minister and NCP's prominent leader ajit pawar was asked for a reaction on this, he replied bluntly, "I do not know what Jayant Patil has said. This is an internal matter of his organization, I do not need to say anything in this." In this way, ajit pawar clearly refused to speak much on this issue.

Order to workers to prepare for elections

ajit pawar also encouraged the workers in the foundation day celebrations of his faction and asked them to be ready for the upcoming local body elections. He said, "Workers work hard in the lok sabha and assembly elections, so now they should get justice by giving them posts in local bodies as well. These elections will be held by october and the State election commission has started preparing for it." Clarification on 'Ladki Behan Yojana'

ajit pawar targeted the opponents and said, "The money for Ladki Behan was not stopped, the opponents were deliberately spreading rumors that the scheme has been stopped. But our government is not like the previous governments. The scheme we have announced is being implemented with full honesty. Be it Ladki Behan or farmers, the policy of help will continue in future as well."
