maharashtra chief minister devendra fadnavis on monday (April 28) claimed that the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project being built at a cost of $15 billion with the cooperation of japan will be operational by 2028. He also said that the state is planning to raise $50 billion from international financiers for infrastructure development in the state and announcements will be made for this in four months.

Without naming Shiv Sena's uddhav thackeray, cm fadnavis said, "The bullet train project got affected during the two-year rule till 2022, but now the work is in full swing. By the year 2028, we will be able to travel in bullet trains." He admitted that neighboring state gujarat is ahead of maharashtra in project development.

Infrastructure construction is very important - Fadnavis

chief minister fadnavis said, "Construction of infrastructure is very important to achieve the target of one trillion US dollars GSDP and during his first term as chief minister between 2014-19, US $ 30 billion was invested in infrastructure construction and now more funds are being invested in important projects.

Wadhvan port will be operational in 3-4 years - Fadnavis

Speaking at an event on the India-Middle east Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) project organized by VRF in Mumbai, he said, "Wadhvan port will be operational in the next 3-4 years. This port will help in reducing the cost of logistics. The turnaround time at JNPA, India's largest container port located nearby, is high. The Wadhavan port will also have an adjacent airport which will be built through land reclamation on the sea.
