In the famous pooja Mandal murder case of Udham Singh nagar district, the administration took major action and demolished the illegal house of accused Mushtaq located in Gauri Kheda of Sitarganj. The joint team of administrative officials and police force involved in the action took this action on Saturday. This house was built illegally by Mushtaq's father Ali ahmed on the land of mathura Prasad, a person belonging to Scheduled Tribe (ST).

The house was illegal

According to local officials, this house was built without any valid documents and approval. The officials present on the spot made a list of the goods kept in the house and seized it. No one was present in the house at the time of action. The house was demolished with a JCB machine in the presence of local people.

The headless body was recovered

This murder case caught fire when the headless body of a young woman was found in the Nadanna canal near the underpass kali Pulia of Khatima on Wednesday. The body was identified as that of pooja Mandal (32 years), a resident of bengali Colony, Nanakmatta, who was missing for the last five months. Pooja's missing report was registered at Sector-5 police station in Gurugram, Haryana.

Murdered in Khatima

During the investigation, Gurugram police arrested Pooja's lover, taxi driver Mushtaq, a resident of Gaurikheda, Sitarganj. During interrogation, he confessed to the murder and told that he had married another girl in november 2024, which pooja opposed. Angered by this, Mushtaq brought pooja to Khatima and killed her by slitting her throat near the Nadanna canal in the underpass area and threw the body.

Head still missing

After the murder, accused Mushtaq was arrested from Sitarganj. On his information, the police recovered Pooja's body from Nadanna area, but the head has not been recovered yet. On Saturday, a team from Sector-5 police station in Gurugram, Haryana, reached the crime scene with the accused and searched for the head but were unsuccessful.
