Chandrayaan-3 moon - "India is on the Moon"!!!


Chandrayaan 3 Landing: Three days after a similar Russian lander crashed, india attempted its second lunar landing today, a mission deemed essential to lunar exploration and the nation's status as a space power. Today at approximately 6:04 p.m. local time (1234 GMT), the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft of the indian Space Research Organisation attempted to land on the lunar south pole which was successful. 

With the successful landing of Chandrayaan, prime minister Modi stated, "We are witnesses to the fresh take-off of new India; a fresh history has been written." "No nation has ever travelled to the moon's South Pole before. "We made it there thanks to the dedication of our scientists," prime minister Modi remarks after the successful soft landing of ISRO's third lunar mission, Chandrayaan-3.
