Actress Neha Malik's mother has lodged a complaint at Amboli police station in mumbai that jewellery worth Rs 34 lakh has been stolen from the house. After which Amboli police station registered a case against the accused Shenaz Sheikh under section 306 of BNS and arrested her from jb Nagar in Andheri and the police have recovered the stolen jewellery. Actress Neha Malik and her mother Manju Malik live in adani Heights Complex at Four Bungalow in Andheri West, the accused has been identified as 37-year-old Shenaz Sheikh, who was working at the actress's house since February.

mumbai police official said, complainant Manju used to keep her jewellery in a bag in an open wooden drawer in the bedroom. On many occasions, she kept gold in the presence of the maid. The house help continued her cleaning even in the absence of the owner.

Complainant Manju went to the Gurudwara at 7.30 am on the day of the incident as usual. Shenaaz came as usual at 7.30 am and offered to clean the bedroom and mirrors thoroughly. Claiming that she needed money to pay her rent. Manju gave her Rs 9000 advance and after instructing the maid about the work, Manju left for the Gurudwara and returned around 9 am. However, the next day (April 26) Shenaaz did not come to work. Worried, Manju tried to call the maid but her phone was switched off. Sensing something suspicious, she checked the drawer and found that the jewellery was missing.

Manju immediately informed her daughter Neha Malik about the incident that gold and some money were missing from the house and that no one else came to their house except the maid. No one else knew where the gold was kept. So they suspected that the maid had stolen the jewellery. Neha's mother contacted the police and registered a case. After registering the case, the police interrogated the accused woman and during investigation it was found that the maid lived in Andheri area, after which the police arrested the accused woman.
