The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) granted accreditation to 25 government polytechnic colleges, which will improve the standard of instruction and student employment chances as well as help the schools qualify for subsidies from central government-sponsored programs.

The NBA certification of 25 government polytechnics following the creation of telangana State is a noteworthy accomplishment, according to Navin Mittal, commissioner of technical education. According to him, the government polytechnics have received logistical and financial help from the telangana State Board of Technical education and Training to support the accreditation process. He said, "Another 14 new government polytechnics, for which approval of jobs is in process, would undergo accreditation procedure in due course. Four more government polytechnics were prepared for NBA specialists to visit for the accreditation process.

Polytechnic students can now pursue a career in law by leaving their second year of coursework and starting their studies in law this year. students who earn at least 90 credits may choose to forego the diploma program in favor of an engineering certificate that will be equivalent to the intermediate telangana State Board of Intermediate education certificate. However, they must enroll in and pass the telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) after completing their second year of coursework.
