97.7% of the State's villages, according to Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari, have cellphone access. With more than four crore mobile connections, the State has one of the greatest teledensities (107%) in the nation, according to the Chief Secretary, who presided over the State Broadband Committee meeting on Tuesday. According to her, telangana was one of the few States in the nation where 5g was vigorously introduced.

The status of pending "Right of Way" applications were also discussed at the meeting, and it was resolved to form a working committee to hasten the rollout of 5g services. The discussion also called the Chief Secretary's attention to the need to give all engineering departments the proper instructions regarding when and how to use the "Call Before U Dig" (CBuD) App.

According to Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari, the 'Telangana ku Haritha Haram' programme has not only restored degraded forests but also helped to safeguard them in the State from dangers including smuggling, encroachments, fire, and grazing. The Chief Secretary said there has been a 7.7 percent increase in the green cover in the State and that a noticeable shift has been evident in the urban and rural landscape areas while speaking at a workshop on plantings on irrigation lands at BRKR Bhavan here.
