The state should anticipate reasonably dry and windy weather over the next three weeks after July's record-breaking rainfall. Till august 10, telangana is expected to get relatively sparse, scattered rainfall, according to the india Meteorological Department (IMD), following which precipitation may gradually pick up on august 11. But only by august 24 is a large amount of rain predicted.
There is expected to be very little rain for the first two weeks of august due to the monsoon break, but it might increase by the third or end of the month. In September, things "might get better," according to K Nagaratna, chief of IMD Hyderabad. The monsoon is currently moving its axis northward, which will increase rainfall across the Indo-Gangetic plain. Even without much precipitation, the state should expect cloudy skies because a deep depression has moved into central india, particularly Chhattisgarh. Strong winds will also blow in Telangana. The depression is forecast to proceed into southeast Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

A shortfall in rainfall for the state in august is improbable, according to statistics from the telangana State Development and Planning Society. The state now gets 51% more rainfall than normal, with 15 districts falling into the "large excess" category and 16 falling into the "excess" category. nalgonda and nagarkurnool are two districts that still come within the category of "normal" rainfall.
