Guidelines for appeal in case of rejection of application under Artist Women's Entitlement Scheme have been published.
Tamil Nadu government is going to implement the ``Artist Women's Rights Scheme'' to provide an entitlement amount of Rs.1000 per month to the head of the household. Applications were received and registered in the first phase from 24th July to 4th august and second phase from 5th august to 14th august to receive applications across the state.
Applications were also received and registered through a special camp from 18th to 20th august for those missing in these two phases. Subsequently, all the applications received under the Artist Women's Rights Scheme were cross-checked with the information in various information databases of the government and verified through direct field inspections by the government officials, and 1.065 crore women who fulfilled the scheme norms were selected as beneficiaries. SMS about the application result status of the candidates will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidates from 18th.
Whereas, the qualifications of the applicants for the Artist Women's Rights Scheme are checked and the applications which do not fulfill the qualifications mentioned in the Ordinance are not accepted. If the candidates who are not accepted thus wish to appeal, they can appeal to the Revenue Quotation through the e-Service Center within 30 days from the date of receipt of the text message regarding the application decision status of the candidates. The tamil Nadu government has informed that appeal applications will be resolved within 30 days.
Commissioner of Revenue will act as Appellate Officer. The appeals made through the website are cross-checked with the information in the government information databases and forwarded to the revenue commissioner. In cases where field inspection is required for disposal of appeal applications, the Commissioner of Revenue shall obtain and investigate the field inspection report through the concerned Social Security Scheme district Officers. All these appeal procedures are done through website only.
The Commissioner of Revenue acts as the Inquiry Officer on complaints received from individuals regarding eligibility and diseligibility of beneficiaries. Complaints received through the website will be dealt with following the procedures followed for appeals.
