Supreme court adjourned Senthil Balaji's bail plea till november 6. minister Senthil balaji was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on june 14 in the case of illegal transactions. The madras Principal Session ordered him to be remanded in judicial custody. Accordingly, he has been lodged in Puzhal Jail, Chennai. Senthil Balaji's judicial custody has been extended till november 6 for the 9th time. Meanwhile, a petition was filed in the madras high court seeking bail for Senthil Balaji. In the petition, it was sought that bail should be granted considering his physical condition. 


However, the madras high court rejected his bail plea saying that it cannot accept his bail plea on medical grounds. Against this he has appealed to the supreme Court. The case came up for hearing in the supreme court today. Hearing the case, the supreme court adjourned the hearing on the bail plea of minister Senthil balaji to november 6. The madras Principal Session ordered him to be remanded in judicial custody. Accordingly, he has been lodged in Puzhal Jail, Chennai.
