When kejriwal got a blow-AAP said, 'Just like Sanjay...'
In a blow to delhi Chief minister and aam aadmi party (AAP) national convenor arvind kejriwal, the high court has rejected his petition. cm kejriwal had challenged the arrest of ED in the delhi Excise Policy case. Now kejriwal will approach the supreme court against the decision of the High Court. This information has been given by minister Saurabh Bhardwaj.
When the party convener did not get relief, delhi government minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that when the bail plea of sanjay singh (Aam Aadmi Party's rajya sabha MP) was rejected in the delhi high court, she was the judge and she also did the same. Talks were held, but sanjay singh got bail after going to the supreme Court. Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the supreme court gave relief on the same arguments on which sanjay singh did not get relief from the same High Court.
We will challenge the decision in the top court- Saurabh
Saurabh Bhardwaj said, "That is why the entire justice system has been created in the Constitution, under which if a court makes a mistake, you appeal higher and that mistake is rectified." We respect the decision taken today, but we do not agree with this decision. We will go to the supreme court against this decision.
ED intimidated me into recording false statements - Saurabh
The AAP leader said, "ED obtained false statements through intimidation." There is talk of crores of rupees but till now no one has made an illegal recovery of even Rs 1 anywhere. It is a big thing in itself that when it is a matter of embezzlement of crores, not even ₹ 1 is found. bjp is demanding the resignation of cm Kejriwal. At the same time, a few days ago two petitions were also filed in the high court demanding his resignation. On which the high court had said that this was not an issue of their jurisdiction. It is the job of arvind kejriwal and the lg of delhi themselves to take this decision.
