For her upcoming hearing on her bail request in the extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, jacqueline fernandez arrived at patiala House Court. She had previously been granted temporary bail in the case by the trial court. A temporary reprieve was given till november 10. Since her name surfaced in the Rs 200 crore money extortion case connected to conman Chandresekhar, Fernandez has been flying in and out of delhi for questioning and court appearances.

Several organisations, including the ED and the delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing, have questioned the actress (EOW). The actress' attorney recently reiterated that they will keep fighting for her dignity and insisted that she was innocent. Even the primary defendant in the case, Chandrashekar, claimed in a letter that the actress was unaware of or unrelated to the alleged case.

"The fact that Jacqueline has been charged in the PMLA matter is really regrettable. We were dating, as I've made clear before, and I've given her and her family gifts. What did they do wrong? She only requested that I love her and support her. Every single cent spent on her and her family came from legal sources of income, and this will soon be demonstrated in the trial court, "In the letter, he said.
