Physically, ashish gandhi seems to fit the bill. He diligently completes his work and does well in the penultimate sequences. The regular rhythms make it difficult to remember, but when given the chance, the effort is evident. Jagapathi Babu portrays a boisterous and annoying persona in the most extravagant way imaginable. He stands head and shoulders above the rest in his act right off the bat. If the rest had followed suit, it might have been entertaining, but considering how serious everything is, his conduct quickly loses its appeal. His portrayal features a frown that, after a while, gets inadvertently funny and infuriating.
The female leads are played by Vimala Raman, mamta mohandas, and Ganavi Laxman. Every character in the story plays a defined role and does it well. mamta mohandas is obnoxious and boisterous, whereas vimala raman is composed and experienced. With some nice dramatic moments at the conclusion, Ganavi Laxman is on the more favorable side. In his brief appearance, Kalakeya prabhas does nothing but rant, interspersed with coarse language aimed to irritate the audience. He is well going about his business. In his role as the villain, RS Nanda typically plays the sidekick. He is doing OK. The remaining performers play various supporting roles.
The soundtrack and background music for the movie are composed by Nofel raja AIS. Even though an effort has been made to stay true to the original sound, all but one song in the second half are forgettable. Loud background music heightens the inadvertent comedy whenever certain characters appear. Cinematography by Santosh Sanamoni is respectable when compared to other technical aspects. He has the potential to have a greater impression, but he falls short since some of it is also rather ordinary-looking. The editing could have used more precision. The writing of B Nageswar reddy makes Rudrangi seem longer and more monotonous. Writing quality is lacking.
The very poor tale that, at most, should have been an action block causes Rudrangi to suffer overall. It is hard to sit through because of the accidental humour, campiness, and loudness; it is a quickly skippable and forgettable spectacle.
