If you forgo the dupatta in favor of a lighter silhouette on your back, capes can elevate indian attire.  Samantha Ruth Prabhu, however, demonstrates that it can be worn with almost anything, including jumpsuits.  Samantha Ruth Prabhu's cobalt blue structured jumpsuit, styled by Prayag Menon, was made from matka silk and matched with an organza cape by Payal Khandwala. It drew inspiration from the dreamy, flowing designs that characterized the New York and paris runways of 2020.
The wide-sleeved organza cape was adorned with beautiful embroidery down the sleeves, while the jumpsuit had a tight waist, pleated front details, and a pointed collar.  The actor wore maximalist diamonds from Nishka Jewellery for a glamorous look, and her hair and makeup were pulled back, including fluttery lashes, smokey eyes, and a soft, low bun with a side parting.
Occasionally, flowing shapes and capes make a comeback in the wardrobes of celebrities. Remember kareena kapoor Khan's appearance at the gala night of Lakmē fashion Week? She wore a special ivory manish Malhotra sari with exquisite embroidery and delicate lace, and she wore a matching cape that mirrored the same design. Or Sharvari's quilted floral ensemble by Saaksha & Kinni, accessorized with a dramatic trail and a cloak with hand-embroidered cutwork embellishments.
