Method:

2. Boil Milk: In a separate saucepan, bring the milk to a gentle boil. Add the roasted vermicelli and cook on low-medium heat, stirring frequently.
3. Add Sweetener and Spices: Once the vermicelli softens (around 8–10 minutes), add jaggery or sugar and crushed cardamom. Stir well to dissolve the sweetener.
4. Add Nuts and Raisins: In a small pan, lightly fry the cashews, almonds, and raisins in a teaspoon of ghee until golden. Add them to the payasam and mix well.
