Research: Alcohol promotes heart problems?....

A study has revealed that alcohol, which is currently considered safe in some countries, is promoting heart-related problems. This study report was published in the journal 'Cardiology'. Dr Bethany Wong, author of this study and working at st Vincent's university Hospital in Dublin, Ireland, said, 'This study is evidence that suggests that we need to be more careful when consuming alcohol.'

Dr. Wong has suggested people that "if you want to reduce the risk of damage to the heart and you do not consume alcohol, do not try to start drinking alcohol. If you drink beer, do not drink more than 500ml of beer."

According to the World health Organization, the european union is at the top in terms of drinking. It is well known that long-term drinking increases the risk of heart failure, also known as 'alcoholic cardiomyopathy'.

What was the conclusion of this study?

Compared to the low intake group, most youths were in the middle or highest intake category. Of these, the number of men was more likely to be there. The BMI of such people was also high.  Consuming alcohol excessively may force heart damage, hurting the heart layer.
