Actress Oviya was recently in news, as she bagged an exciting new project titled Kaatteri in Tamil. Directed by Deekay of Kavalai Vendaam and Yaamirukka Bayamey fame, the film is bankrolled by Studio Green productions, and will mark the Tamil debut of Telugu actor Aadi Saikumar, and will be a spine-chilling horror flick with generous doses of comedy.
It must be noted that Oviya was a part of Deekay's debut horror comedy Yaamirukka Bayamey itself, as one of the leads. Recently, yet another interesting announcement was made concerned with Oviya's career, and it was made by none other the Actor/director Raghava Lawrence, who revealed that Oviya will play the female lead in the 4th installment of his horror series Muni, titled Kanchana 3/ Muni 4.
This project bankrolled by Sun pictures will also have Muni 1 heroine Vedhika and another newcomer Nikitha.After it was believed that her career had ended with disastrous choices and failures, Oviya is back with a bang, thanks to the huge fan following of 'Oviya Army' she gained with her sensational appearance in Kamal Hassan hosted Tamil game show Bigg Boss. She's flooded with ad and movie offers post her Bigg Boss stint, and will also play an important role in Vishnu Vishal starrer Silukkuvarpatti Singam. Let's see whether Oviya can continue the horror success!
