Every year hundreds of movies release in the theatres. The recent trend is that even before the movie hits the screens the satellite rights are being sold to channels. In the name of pre-release business the makers are selling the satellite rights to the channels as well as OTT platforms. It is hard to find a movie in the theatres for one month these days. The same goes with big hero movies as well.

However few movies took three to four years to sell its satellite rights. For instance Nani’s ‘Jandapi Kapiraju’ and ‘Eto Vellipoyindi Manasu’ movies telecasted in TVs only after three four years of their release.
 
Also, there are few movies that not even made to the satellite rights. Balakrishna’s ‘Paramaveera Chakra’ directed by Dasari narayanarao satellite rights weren’t bought by any tv channel yet. The balakrishna directorial ‘Narthanasala’ failed to make it to the theatres and was recently released on OTT platform, which is said to have collected 1.25 crores.  

Also, Balakrishna’s ‘Adhinayakudu’ movie in which he played triple role also failed to sell its satellite rights. Recently, amazon Prime bought the wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital rights of this movie. Coming to chiranjeevi, he acted in a kannada movie ‘Sipai’ directed by Ravichandran. The movie stars Ravichandran and soundarya as the leads. The movie was released in 1996 and till date the satellite rights of this movie weren’t sold. So well these are the utter flop movies of these two big actors.
