We have been waiting for a long time for the cinema debut of Shah Rukh Khan's Ladli Suhana Khan. Now, this wait is about to end, after a lot of discussions, Suhana has started working on her debut film. Filmmaker zoya akhtar has started shooting for her upcoming Netflix live-action musical film 'The Archies' today i.e. april 18.
The story of the film 'The Archies' is based on the comic book character Archie Andrews and his friends. Actually, this Netflix film is a sequel to this story. Directed by zoya akhtar, the film is set in the 1960s. The indian sequel to the iconic comics will be produced by tiger Baby and Graphic India. Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and agastya Nanda will be making their bollywood debut with this remake of 'The Archies'.
This news was revealed by the producer of the film 'Reema Kagti' by sharing a post on her instagram handle. Reema uploaded a picture of a clapboard, in which the details of the first shot of the film 'The Archies' were written. She captioned her post as, "#Archie's #shootstarts #TigerBaby's first solo production #partnerincrime" In which Reema tagged zoya akhtar and Netflix as well. Soon after, actor farhan akhtar also wished the entire team of the film, posting Reema's post on his instagram story.
According to reports, agastya Nanda will be seen playing the role of Archie Andrews in 'The Archies'. While Khushi Kapoor and Suhana Khan will be seen playing the characters of Betty and Veronica. These three-star kids were earlier seen on the sets of the film in March. At that time all three of them had gone there for their costume trials.
