France Keeps Burning Despite Violent Protests..?


Even though the administration said that the level of violence was significantly lower than what happened the previous three nights, france had its fourth night of nonstop violence. In order to quell the unrest caused by the murder of a teenager of Algerian heritage named Nahel in the paris district of Nanterre, the French government enhanced its police presence and sent out over 45,000 officers.

The French government said that 3,880 fires were lit, 2,000 automobiles were burnt, and at least 492 structures were damaged. The "unacceptable exploitation of the death of the adolescent" by rioters was denounced by French President Emmanuel Macron. He notified germany on saturday that he would be delaying a state visit in order to address the urban unrest.

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN france IS AS FOLLOWS:

Over 1,311 people have been detained by the police across the country during the fourth straight night of riots. Despite 471 arrests, interior minister Gérald Darmanin claimed that friday night was more tranquil than Thursday. In order to stop future violence, the authorities urged parents to keep their teenagers inside their houses. The authorities added that teenagers as young as 13 years old were also detained and that the average age of the rioters who were imprisoned was 17.
