Why is the Modi government careless about no-confidence motion?

While the ruling party alleged that we are ready for discussion, but the opposition leaders are running away. Amidst all this, on wednesday (July 26), the opposition presented a no-confidence motion against the government in the Lok Sabha. However, the Modi government seems unconcerned about this no-confidence motion.
The congress and other constituents of the opposition coalition india are demanding a statement and discussion from PM Modi in parliament regarding the Manipur violence. There has been an uproar on this issue since the first day of the monsoon session (July 20). Recently, a video of women being paraded naked and sexually assaulted in Manipur had also surfaced. After which anger was seen in the whole country.
Deadlock remains on the issue of Manipur
In fact, on May 3, a tribal solidarity march was taken out in protest against the demand of the Meitai community for granting Scheduled Tribe status in Manipur. After which caste violence broke out in the state. During this, more than 160 people have died so far and thousands of people have become homeless. The opposition says that the government has failed to stop the violence in Manipur. There is a deadlock between the opposition and the ruling party regarding this issue. After which the opposition parties came up with a no-confidence motion on Wednesday.
