A 16-year-old kid was seen dancing close to the body during the brutal incident, which was recorded on CCTV video, as he stabbed an 18-year-old guy many times on a street in northeast Delhi. According to reports, the accused was inebriated at the time of the incident. The gruesome murder occurred in the Welcome neighbourhood because the culprit intended to take Rs 350 from the victim. The culprit was seen on CCTV footage carrying the victim's corpse down a tiny path flanked by residences on each side.

He then repeatedly stabs the victim's face, ears, and face, as well as slashes his neck. The youngster takes a quick break from his heinous murdering to glance around. The accused then proceeds to attack the victim before looking to the right, moving in that direction, and briefly disappearing from the CCTV camera. He subsequently returns and starts stabbing again.

The youngster kneels and cuts the victim's neck and head off. He also stomped on the victim's head. For a few seconds, he starts dancing. Later, he pulls the victim's blood-soaked body out of the picture. According to the authorities, the offender choked the victim before knocking him out. The accused then pulled him to a tiny bylane and savagely stabbed him many times, the heinous crime being captured on video. After committing the act, he stole Rs 350. The Deputy Commissioner of police, North east delhi, told india Herald that the police will submit a plea in court to have the accused tried as an adult in the case.

"I questioned the accused myself and asked him about the incident." He said he intended to steal money from the victim, so he choked him until he passed out. "The accused claimed he searched the victim's pocket and discovered Rs 350," a delhi police officer said.

"An ordinary robber would loot the money and go away, but in this case, I don't know what came to his mind, he stabbed the victim several times," said the police officer in charge.

According to police sources, the accused was previously involved in a murder-robbery case in 2022. The murder occurred in the Welcome area.

The DCP of North east delhi further stated that the accused's name has previously came up in murder cases in fights. "We do not keep any record of minors, but the accused has been involved in cases of murder and fights in the past," the officer told india Herald.
