On tuesday (17 June) in delhi, the rekha Gupta government took a big step towards strengthening health services. A total of 33 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs were inaugurated in different areas. These 33 Ayushman Mandirs have been prepared by modifying the old dispensaries or vacant government buildings of the capital delhi, and have been converted into a modern primary health center by equipping them with modern facilities.

Chief minister rekha Gupta inaugurated the Arogya Mandir in Shalimar Bagh and Tis Hazari. At the same time, the new Ayushman Arogya Mandir built in Delhi's Vikaspuri assembly was inaugurated by delhi health minister Dr. Pankaj Singh. The Arogya Mandir built in Vikaspuri has been built by converting a baraat ghar into Ayushman Arogya Mandir and it is made like a modern mini health center.

What are the facilities in Ayushman Arogya Mandir?

Two doctors will be present in the bjp government's Ayushman Arogya Mandir from morning to evening. Apart from this, there is a separate room for pharmacy, dressing, separate room for vaccination and cold storage and a lab, in which 10 types of tests including diabetes, dengue, malaria, hiv and liver test can be done immediately. Samples are taken for more than 81 blood tests and the report comes from outside.

If the facilities of Ayushman Arogya Mandirs are compared with Mohalla Clinic, then there is enough space for patients to sit in Ayushman Arogya Mandir, while the space in Mohalla Clinic is limited. While there are separate rooms for pharmacy, nursing and vaccination in Arogya Mandir, there is a seating arrangement for patients in the same hall in Mohalla Clinic and the pharmacy is also in this small hall, while there is no lab inside for immediate testing and neither is there any arrangement for vaccination in Mohalla Clinic.

Apart from this, while there are permanent doctors and staff in Arogya Mandir, there are doctors and staff working on contract in Mohalla Clinic. According to local residents ram jeevan and Sushma, coming to Arogya Mandir will give them a lot of relief and now they will not have to go to private hospitals.
