Squid Game, a Korean television show, has become a worldwide phenomenon and is, for the time being, the only programme on everyone's lips. Squid Game has surpassed Netflix's own much awaited Money Heist season 5 volume 1 in order of ratings this year, as well as another Netflix series, Bridgerton, as the most viewed online series in its first month.


And now, the Korean show appears to have reached such ridiculous level of fame that stories are circulating that Netflix has chosen to make Squid Game available in tamil and telugu for those who are more familiar with the indian languages. Surprisingly to many, the online series is already available in Hindi, which is one of the factors why it has been so popular in India, and if the tamil and telugu editions are pulled, we expect the show's popularity to skyrocket.


So, when will Squid Game's converted tamil and telugu editions be available on Netflix? Although no official word has been given, both series are scheduled to be released in both tongues in the near future. It's no surprise that this will increase Netflix's subscription number in India, as individuals are likely to cover at least a month on the OTT site only to watch Squid Game.
