Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's custodial detention with the Enforcement Directorate expires tonight, and he is scheduled to appear before Delhi's Rouse Avenue court on Thursday. This occurs one day after the delhi high court refused the aam aadmi party chief's request for quick relief and said that it will not obstruct the Enforcement Directorate's arrest of him.

Sunita, the spouse of arvind kejriwal, asserted on wednesday that her husband will provide a "big expose" in court on thursday over the purported anomalies in the liquor policy issue.

Additionally, she stated that throughout the central investigative agency's several searches on manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and Satyendar Jain's properties, no money was discovered.

Following demonstrations by AAP leaders and members, the delhi Police used its manpower and paramilitary troops to prevent any untoward incident before to Kejriwal's appearance in court.

The specifications said that while DCP level officials will still be on the ground, important tasks were delegated to delhi Police troops.

Along with ordering the inspection of every car in the vicinity, orders were also issued to detain protestors.

THE CASE
After arvind kejriwal was detained on march 21, a delhi court remanded him to the investigation agency's custody until march 28.

The chief minister had petitioned the high court last week, but he was denied an urgent hearing since the court was closed for Holi, according to well-placed sources.

His party leaders staged large-scale demonstrations and sloganeering in the streets after his apprehension. In the meantime, protesting outside the delhi Assembly and calling for Kejriwal's resignation were bjp officials and activists.

But according to the bjp, kejriwal was denied respite because the Enforcement Directorate has "concrete" evidence against him. They further stated that the last phase of Kejriwal's "politics of deception" will begin in the next few days.

The issue concerns the alleged use of money laundering and corruption in the development and implementation of the excise strategy for 2021–2022 that was later abandoned by the delhi government.

Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh, prominent AAP leaders, are being held in judicial custody over the matter.
