What did Putin's close aide say on Trump's ceasefire plan?

The Russia-Ukraine war has completed three years and the ongoing war between the two is still not stopping. US President Donald Trump's attempt to propose peace between the two countries has received a major setback from Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin's senior aide Yuri Ushakov criticized the ceasefire proposal in a phone conversation with US security advisor Mike Waltz. He said, 'This will be just a temporary arrangement, in which the Ukrainian army will just get a breather. This ceasefire has no meaning beyond this'.

'Putin will bring a peaceful solution'

Talking to Reuters, Yuri Ushakov said, 'President Vladimir Putin will probably make a more specific and concrete assessment on Thursday'. Ushakov also said, 'Russia is striving for a long-term peaceful solution, which will secure Russia's legitimate interests'.

'No peace deal needed at present'

Putin's senior aide Yuri Ushakov said in a conversation with the media, 'We want a peaceful solution, we are striving for this'. He further said, 'I believe that in the current situation, no one needs a peace deal in the current situation'.

US delegation reaches Russia

US negotiators went to Russia on thursday to present their plan for a 30-day ceasefire in Russia-Ukraine. During this, Washington put pressure on Moscow to unconditionally stop the three-year conflict.
