Pakistani cricketer Babar Azam's instagram story went viral amid the recent terror attack in pahalgam, igniting intense debates on social media and news sites in both india and pakistan amid the heightened tensions. The post, which denies cricket players' involvement in the incident and attacks the Pakistani Army, was made after india blocked access to several Pakistani instagram accounts.

Babar Azam's Message: "India Is My Second Home"
Babar Azam allegedly starts the story by praising india, referring to it as his "second home," and complaining about his instagram account being blocked there.  "As a cricketer, I have always loved playing in india and have considered it my second home," the message continues.  He also makes an effort to distinguish between politics and sports by saying, "I want to make it absolutely clear cricketers are not involved in the pahalgam attack."

However, the post's scathing critique of the Pakistani establishment is what makes it unique. The narrative blames the pahalgam attack on "dirty politics driven by the Pakistani Army," claiming that the military establishment protected terrorist organizations while regular Pakistanis suffered the repercussions.  "Everyone knows who truly holds power in pakistan and who continues to protect and support terrorism," the text states.

Uncharacteristic Tone Raises Eyebrows
Since Babar Azam usually stays away from politically sensitive remarks, his purported account represents a substantial shift from his regular public demeanor.  The article concludes with a powerful statement directed at the Pakistani Army: "Pakistan Zindabad," followed by "Stop sponsoring terrorism," implying a nationalistic tone with a hint of discontent and change.

But it's still unclear if Babar Azam's post is genuine. Many people conjecture that his account might have been compromised or altered.  The pakistan cricket Board (PCB) and Babar Azam have not yet released an official statement endorsing or refuting the veracity of the widely shared tale.
