In the recent past, tamil directors have worked with tollywood heroes, but the outcomes have been disastrous. Many of them were unable to produce even films with the bare minimum of material. The films spyder by Mahesh Babu, NOTA by Vijay Deverakonda, The Warrior by Ram, and the most recent Custody by naga chaitanya all ended up being complete duds. There are numerous historical examples as well, including Naani, Bangaram, Puli, Panjaa, and Yeto Velli Poyindi Manasu.

Films directed by tamil filmmakers are now being produced by Mega Heroes. shankar is directing ram charan in Game Changer, his first straight telugu film, even if he cannot be compared to the directors named above. Samuthirakani, who previously produced a dud like Shambho shiva Shambho with ravi Teja, is directing pawan kalyan and sai dharam tej in the Vinodhaya Sitham remake.

Additionally, there is speculation that ntr may work with renowned tamil director Vetrimaaran in the future, albeit this is unconfirmed. There is already chatter on social media that tamil directors are becoming a curse for the telugu cinema industry and that tollywood actors should avoid them. However, Mega Heroes are producing films that contradict this viewpoint. Let's hope they produce blockbuster films with these directors and end the curse.
