'Kurup,' starring Dulquer Salmaan, was released in theatres on november 12th. The documentary has received very good feedback from both mainstream audiences. Dulquer has received accolades for his exemplary work as Kurup, the outlaw. Dulquer and Bejoy previously served together on the anthology movie 'Solo,' which comprises of four motion pictures. 


Bejoy Nambiar uploaded a video from the theatre seeing 'Kurup' on Insta. He gushed over Dulquer, saying that the performer "ripped out all the breaks and provides a compelling take on the old myth with maybe some great ensemble players." On Monday, Kurup held a pre-release ceremony in Hyderabad. "Kurup is a meaningful movie for myself and the crew," 


Dulquer stated at the ceremony regarding Kurup. You can tell how much attention we've put into it from whatever glance you've gotten. I guarantee you that this (sneak peek) is only 1% of the rest of the movie. I am confident that everyone who watches it will have an absolute blast. The premise and concept (of the film) are international, which is why we're distributing it in numerous languages. Coming back to hyderabad always brings me joy and happiness to my family as well."
