The couple’s teams confirmed the wedding delay was solely due to this emergency.

Rumours quickly spread on social media, implicating choreographers Nandika Dwivedi and Gulnaaz Khan in the postponement.
Both choreographers stepped forward to categorically deny any connection to the situation.
Nandika Dwivedi Responds to False Claims
Nandika temporarily made her social media account private to escape trolling.
In a public statement, she called the rumours “deeply hurtful”.
She clarified:
She did not disrupt anyone’s relationship.
The allegations were false and had a significant mental health impact.
Nandika revealed she had received threats that worried her family.
She urged fans to stop spreading rumours and not involve her further.
She concluded: “Eventually, the truth will find its way.”
Gulnaaz Khan Denies Speculation
Gulnaaz Khan also addressed the rumours, stating she and Nandika were not involved in the wedding issue.
She emphasized that knowing someone socially or having a photo does not connect them to personal matters.
She urged the public to avoid jumping to conclusions and thanked supporters for their understanding.
Families Recovering; Wedding Remains on Hold
Smriti’s father and Palash Muchhal have been discharged from the hospital.
Despite their recovery, the wedding will remain postponed.
Families will decide on a new date at a later time.
