Cabinet minister Asim ahmed khan was demanding bribe
In the year 2018, chief minister arvind kejriwal suddenly showed the way out to cabinet minister Asim ahmed khan from the delhi cabinet. Asim, who is handling the Ministry of Food Supplies, was accused of demanding a bribe of Rs 6 lakh from a builder, whose audio recording was sent by the builder to Kejriwal. Although Asim called it a conspiracy against him, kejriwal sacked him and recommended a cbi inquiry into the matter to the central government.
MLA Prakash beat up the Chief Secretary, got arrested
In the year 2018, Prakash Jarwal, mla from Deoli seat, was arrested by the delhi Police from a wedding ceremony. He was accused of assaulting the then Chief Secretary of delhi, anshu Prakash. Earlier in the year 2017, Jarwal was accused of misbehaving with an elderly woman. The 53-year-old woman had alleged that Prakash had also threatened her.
Vijay Nair has been arrested in the excise policy scam
Vijay Nair, associated with the aam aadmi party for the last 8 years, is considered close to manish Sisodia. Nair was arrested by the cbi last year in the delhi Excise Policy scam. The ED probing the money laundering of this scam has also accused Vijay Nair of playing an important role in getting the policy implemented.
Councilor Geeta Rawat
Vinod nagar ward councillor Geeta Rawat was caught red-handed taking a bribe in manish Sisodia's assembly constituency Patparganj. AAP councillor Geeta was arrested by the CBI's anti-corruption team in february 2022. She was accused of taking a bribe in exchange for getting government work done through a groundnut trader.
