In the 18th ward of the siddipet Municipality, Finance minister T. harish rao set an example by taking part in a rubbish-collecting effort by walking around the roadways. Rao, who had proposed a fortnight earlier to municipal councilors and officials that such drives be conducted throughout their wards, put on the uniform of a sanitation worker on monday morning to collect trash. The goal was to inform the public of the importance of maintaining a clean, hygienic environment on their property.

In addition to collecting trash and unclogging drains, the minister talked to the public and educated them about the need of separating wet and dry waste at home.

In order to avoid the development of mosquito breeding grounds, the minister further urged citizens to maintain a dry environment free of water stagnation. The minister urged the populace to utilize rubbish cans instead of littering public areas and said it was everyone's duty to keep the town clean. He stated that the objective was to make siddipet a garbage-free town via ongoing initiatives and community involvement. The goal was to inform the public of the importance of maintaining a clean, hygienic environment on their property.
