In Madhya Pradesh, in 2013, Income Tax raided several places of businessman Sudhir Sharma. The department got a diary from here, in which it was talked about bribing two ministers of Madhya Pradesh. After the report came out, there was political upheaval in Madhya Pradesh.Meanwhile, the issue of Vyapam started arising, whose investigation was started by the CBI. Sudhir Sharma was called the main accused in the Vyapam scam. The investigation agency started action only on the basis of the evidence received from Sharma. After coming out of jail in 2018, there was speculation that he would contest the elections, but the bjp did not give him a ticket.After not getting ticket from bjp, Sharma called himself Lord Shiva. In a program, he said that he himself had consumed all the poison of Vyapam. He died in 2021 at Chirayu Hospital in Bhopal.
