delhi police has issued a strict security advisory (G20 delhi Traffic Advisory) for the successful completion
of the G20 Summit (G20 Summit 2023) in the national capital Delhi. Along with the movement of vehicles,
the movement of common people will be strictly guarded by the police. Special CP Traffic SS Yadav held a
press conference on friday regarding the transport system with security precautions during the G20 summit.
During this, he told that a traffic advisory has been issued regarding the G20 summit. He said that the area of
New delhi will be in a completely restricted zone during the summit. The ban will come into force in Delhi
from the night of 7 and 8 September. During the ban, movement of delhi, DTC, private vehicles and other
modes of transport will also be restricted to maintain order.
Special CP Traffic SS Yadav told that the second major ban will be on commercial vehicles. In particular,
movement of heavy commercial vehicles inside delhi will be restricted. Delhi's borders will also be sealed for
heavy commercial vehicles. However, emergency services such as food items, health and other essential
services have been kept out of this. Movement of vehicles engaged in essential services will be allowed in
Delhi. There will be no restriction on the movement of people associated with ambulance, medical services. If
there is a need for medical treatment, people can come to the hospital with the help of any means of transport.
Alternate routes will be made for the movement of ambulances.
