As party leader and chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao prepares to run from the kamareddy constituency in the next assembly elections, excitement among the BRS cadre in kamareddy is evident. The party members are busy identifying important problems and formulating workable answers as preparations are now in full gear.

The Chief Minister's choice to run from kamareddy has prompted concentrated attention to the issues of the seat. This week, he plans to hold an important meeting with the leaders of the kamareddy constituency at pragathi Bhavan to talk over the political dynamics of the area, party operations, and current development efforts.

Chandrashekhar Rao is said to have made contact with mandal and constituency leaders in recent weeks to have a better understanding of the politics and development in the kamareddy area. He has already shown his dedication to the area by announcing the opening of a government medical school and providing Rs 197 crore for the replacement of the Mission Bhagiratha pipeline, among other initiatives.

Before the official date for the assembly elections is made public, the BRS president is anticipated to make at least one trip to his new district. The party apparatus is completely committed to poll preparations, with BRS MLC K kavitha overseeing the Chief Minister's outreach and campaigning activities. A number of BRS heavyweights, including minister Vemula Prashanth reddy and local mla Gampa Govardhan, are actively participating in the election preparations.

The local party cadre was originally taken aback by Chandrashekhar Rao's choice to run from kamareddy, but it has since boosted their morale. The chief minister allegedly relocated to kamareddy out of fear of losing his existing seat, Gajwel, according to the opposition parties.

MLC Kavitha, however, disputed these assertions, claiming Chandrashekhar Rao made the strategic choice to run from kamareddy in addition to Gajwel. "To claim that the chief minister is concerned about losing is absurd. He is a leader in the nation who can run for office from any seat and easily win. In Telangana, he has been the sole unbeatable leader, she said.
