Following the defeat of the ruling party, BRS, in the recent telangana assembly elections, ktr, the working president and former minister, is gearing up for the upcoming parliamentary elections. BRS, which aspired to regain power for the third consecutive time, faced a setback in the assembly polls, securing only 34 seats.

With parliamentary elections looming in two months, ktr is now reaching out to the people, questioning why he was sidelined in the assembly elections and presenting himself as the face of Telangana. In his appeal, ktr positioned himself as the brand of telangana, emphasizing his commitment to raising the voice of the region.
He expressed surprise at not being chosen by the people in the assembly elections and asserted that he will continue championing the cause of telangana in the upcoming 18th Lok Sabha, scheduled for 2024. ktr highlighted that, historically, only BRS MPs had been the vocal representatives of telangana in Parliament, addressing issues and posing questions on behalf of the region. He listed instances where he actively participated in parliamentary discussions and submitted questions, underlining his dedication to representing Telangana's interests.
However, criticisms have emerged in response to KTR's assertions. Some question the effectiveness of his efforts, noting that despite numerous questions and parliamentary engagements, tangible outcomes, especially regarding key promises, remain elusive. Scepticism persists about the impact of KTR's representation on the ground, with calls for concrete achievements rather than just rhetorical questions.
