India vs new zealand 1st test match ends in a thrilling draw!!!

The first test match which happened in kanpur between india vs new zealand ends in a draw after the umpire called early stumps on day 5 due to bad light.

The day started with new zealand requiring 280 runs for victory and india needed nine wickets. The debut player Rachin ravindra and Ajaz patel were the final pairs as new zealand managed to get 165 runs for nine on the final day of the test match. The Players of new zealand had started with a good start making the bowlers go wicketless in the starting session. The opening players tom Latham and William Somerville gave 76 runs making them reach 79/1 before lunch on day 5.
                 After Lunch india bounced back in their second session by dismissing Somerville on his 36 runs by Umesh Yadav. Williamson had got his 50 before being dismissed by Ashwin at 52 runs. Soon after the lunch, new zealand players started to lose their wickets in many. The best all-rounder Jadeja had dismissed Kane Williamson with LBW on 24 runs giving india the great advantage. The new zealand player Rachin ravindra and Ajaj patel had played well and survived till the last. The last over partnership made them hold on 52 balls which may be a savior for New Zealand. If not for the last wicket partnership, india would have won this match. Unluckily, the match was drawn at last as bad light made the match stop earlier than the regular time.
