On Thursday, march 7, at TIMS, Alwal in Secunderabad, telangana chief minister A revanth reddy lay the cornerstone for the "Rajiv Rahadari (SH01) Elevated Corridor."

Starting from paradise Junction, the corridor travels to the ORR Junction, West Maredpally, Karkhana, Tirumalgheri, Bollaram, Alwal, Hakimpet, and Thumkunta.

The defense ministry owns 113.48 acres of the 197.2 acres that make up the full 18.1 km corridor, while the remaining 83.72 acres are privately owned.

The elevated corridor makes up 11.2 kilometers of the 18.1 kilometers in total.

The corridor has a 0.3-kilometer subterranean tube as well. The project is anticipated to cost Rs 2,232 crore and entails building 287 piers.

The corridor will ease traffic: Revanth

Revanth, speaking at a gathering on the occasion, claimed that the project will alleviate traffic congestion along the medchal, Quthbullapur, Karimnagar, and adilabad stretch.

The project was put on hold for years due to disagreements between the federal and state governments. The prior BRS administration disregarded the project and the needs of the populace. My government communicated with the union government shortly after taking office and resolved the issue. "I discussed the ongoing project issue with the prime minister and the minister of Defense," he stated.

He also took issue with the BRS's tardiness in allocating land and renewing the lease on the defense property at Chandrayana Gutta.

"After reviewing the circumstances, my administration turned over the defense grounds. After the elevated corridor construction is finished, the medchal region will grow quickly. He stated that the union government assisted the state government in exchange for the state's cooperation with the center.

The telangana people "suffered a lot due to the crooked policies" that the previous administration had implemented, the chief minister said.

Speaking about the elevated route, he predicted that its completion will hasten the development of northern Telangana.

"Every decision made by my government is carried out without regard to political agenda and with the best interests of the people in mind. During the 10 years of BRS leadership, has hyderabad seen any significant development? Only during the congress did the development occur in hyderabad," he said.

According to Revanth, the state administration is prepared to battle the center should it refuse the state's demands for assistance in developing the state.

Hyderabad's development as an international metropolis is a priority for the state government. Only during elections do we engage in political activity. After the elections, the state's growth is the main objective facing the government. In the upcoming days, the administration is also dedicated to improving the Cantonment region," he continued.
