As a result, users (DigiLocker) can now store and access health records such as vaccination records, doctor's prescriptions, lab reports, hospital discharge summaries, etc. on DigiLocker.

Prior to completing Level 1 integration with ABDM, DigiLocker enabled support for creating Ayushman Bharat health Accounts for its 130 million members.

Users will be able to use DigiLocker as a Personal health Record (PHR) app thanks to the most recent integration. In addition, ABHA holders can also link their health records from various ABDM-registered health facilities such as hospitals and laboratories and access them through DigiLocker. Users can also share specific records with medical experts who are enrolled with the ABDM.
