Bollywood actor shekhar suman is in the headlines these days for his recently released series 'Hiramandi'. In this series of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the actor played the character of Zulfikar and came into limelight by giving intimate scenes with Manisha Koirala. Apart from this, the actor is now in the news for joining politics. shekhar suman may be in limelight today and enjoying fame, but he has suffered a lot in his life. The actor has lost his 11 year old son and this has been the biggest tragedy of his life. After which Shekhar lost faith in god and closed the temple in his house.
Because of this I lost faith in God
In an interview given to Connect FM Canada, shekhar suman remembered his late son Ayush. He told how his son suffered from a disease and he tried his best to get it treated. But when his son was not saved despite all his efforts, he lost all faith in God.

Shekhar suman said, 'All the idols were taken away and thrown out. The temple was closed. I said I would never go back to the god who caused me so much pain, caused me so much sorrow, took the life of a beautiful, innocent child.
Prayed for a son at every temple and shrine.
Let us tell you that Shekhar Suman's elder son Ayush was suffering from heart disease for which the actor took him to london for his treatment. The actor did not shy away from praying at any temple or shrine. He even adopted Buddhism. But despite all this, when his son died, the actor lost his faith in Bhakti.
