Let us tell you that a case was registered against the director on november 11, 2024, at Maddipadu police station in prakasam district for allegedly posting morphed pictures of cm Naidu, deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan, and their family members on social media.
Prakasham district Superintendent of police (SP) AR Damodar told news agency PTI, 'We gave a questionnaire and asked him who tampered with the photographs and on whose instructions it was done'? He said ram Gopal Varma was questioned about the reasons for insulting cm Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and others, and also asked if he had any dispute with them earlier.
When asked about the months-long delay in summoning ram Gopal varma after the case began in november 2024, SP Damodar said that he would be called as per requirement and there was no restriction on summoning him. Meanwhile, a police officer said that the interrogation of Verma began at around 11 am today and continued throughout the day.
The case was registered against ram Gopal varma under various sections based on a complaint received from Ramalingam (45) of Maddipadu. In this, he had accused ram Gopal varma of using social media to spread derogatory content against Naidu and his family, including his son lokesh and daughter-in-law Brahmani.
