megastar chiranjeevi made his social media debut on Ugadi (March 25) and has been putting his quarantine time to full use. As, he halted the shooting of his upcoming film, Acharya, he stressed on the importance of taking care of the daily wage workers. In his latest message, the khaidi No 150 actor said that the coronavirus lockdown will have a lasting impact on the livelihood of the daily wage workers. Hence, he has donated Rs 1 crore to help the daily wagers in the telugu film industry.

 

His message read, "The lockdown situation while mandatory to deal with the CoronaCrisis, also adversely impacts the lives of daily wage workers & lower income groups in the country including the TeluguFilmIndustry. Keeping this in mind I am donating Rs.1 Cr for providing relief to the Film workers.Chiranjeevi made his social media debut on Ugadi (March 25) and has been putting his quarantine time to full use. Moreover apart from chiranjeevi, mahesh babu, pawan Kalyan, ram charan and nithiin have also donated money to andhra pradesh and Telangana's chief minister Relief Fund to fight the novel coronavirus.
