PMK leader Ramadoss in his recent letter stated, "Trains will run on a regular schedule, as they did during India's pre-Corona disease control period, according to the Railway Board. Beyond only improving India's public transportation infrastructure, there is no doubt that this choice will result in general economic growth. rail services are the backbone of inter-state and intra-state transportation in India.

A total of 1,768 express trains are operated by the Railway Board, omitting trains that run locally and in the suburbs. In march of last year, all rail movement was halted in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. While it has been confirmed that all trains will run according to the pre-Corona impact schedule, all special trains that have been operating up to this point have been considered ordinary trains.

Similarly, the Railway Board has announced that regular tariffs and fee concessions for certain trains will be imposed. At the same time, the Board has said that passengers who have booked in advance for future travel on these trains would not be repaid any additional fees. This isn't right. Those who have already made a reservation must pay a price that is up to 65 percent higher than the new fee. Senior folks and those with disabilities make up the majority of them. It is not customary to take money that people have worked hard for in the face of numerous crises and challenges in the name of fees. As a result, the Railway Department should step forward and issue refunds to all those who have purchased tickets at a higher price than the new fare that has taken effect."
