The cbi has strongly objected to Jagan's petition asking for exemption from personal presentation in the case.

Arguments were heard in the high court that such an opportunity should not be given under any circumstances.
The cbi had earlier said that the high court had not granted exemption from personal appearance on the ground that it would affect witnesses.
He said that various petitions have been filed for the last ten years to prevent the prosecution of piracy cases.

He said that there are still many cases pending before the quash petitions. The cbi had argued that granting an exemption from attendance would further delay the trial.
The high court bench reserved judgment after hearing the arguments of both parties. During the arguments held in the high court last Friday, he could not attend the court 5 days a week.
The telangana high court was informed that development works in the state would be stopped. Being the chief minister, he said, security issues would be high along with administrative tasks as well as protocol.

The same argument is heard when it comes to hearing the exemption petitions. jagan says public responsibilities have increased since he became CM. The cbi says he will influence witnesses.
The lower court, which had heard similar arguments in the past, refused to give the personal appearance. Now there is an interest in what kind of decision the high court will take.
Currently, cm jagan is being exempted from attending various hearings for various reasons.
