The State government is working to deliver pure and adulteration-free edible oil through the Vijaya brand, according to Agriculture minister S Niranjan Reddy. On Saturday, the minister publicly introduced the groundnut cold-pressed oil produced by telangana Cooperative oil Seeds Growers Federation Limited (TS OILFED) Vijaya. Sunflower oil, sesame oil, rice bran oil, coconut oil, and palm oil are all available from Vijaya.

Speaking at the event, the minister said that chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has ordered that all goods produced should contribute to bettering public health. As a result, he added, TS OILFED was concentrating on creating and providing the public with pure and free of adulteration edible oils.


The minister added that every district heads in the State will soon have Vijaya stores, which sell a variety of goods like as groceries, mineral water, and oils. In Hyderabad, a total of ten stores have already been established in various Rythu Bazars. The Vijaya stores were established in khammam and Karimnagar, and other stores would open in the districts of siddipet and wanaparthy the following month.

Customers have a high demand for edible oils bearing the Vijaya brand, according to K ramakrishna Reddy, chairman of TS OILFED. Vijaya Oils' sales turnover was around Rs 180 crore per year roughly five years ago, but it is currently Rs 530 crore per year.

He added that a mechanised cold pressing machine with approximately Rs 70 lakh was at Shivrampally a few months ago in response to the demand for Vijaya food oils.

A Mega oil Packing station was being built next to the current TS OILFED packing facility at Shivrampally to help fulfil the growing demand for Vijaya culinary oils.
