The election commission has made complete preparations for the assembly elections in Rajasthan. The final

publication of integrated photo voter lists of all 200 assembly constituencies of the state has been done. Chief

Electoral Officer praveen Gupta said that a total of 5 crore 29 lakh 31 thousand 152 voters are registered in the

state for the assembly General Election-2023. Of these, 2 crore 74 lakh 74 thousand 849 are male and 2 crore 53

lakh 13 thousand 458 are female voters. He said that 22 lakh 71 thousand 647 new voters aged 18-19 years will

exercise their franchise for the first time in this election and 624 voters of third gender are registered. In the 2018

general assembly elections, there were 4 crore 77 lakh 89 thousand voters in the state. Of these, 2 crore 49 lakh

61 thousand were women and 2 crore 28 lakh 27 thousand were female voters.

Home voting from 15 to 19 November

A total of 11 lakh 72 thousand 260 voters aged 80 years or more and a total of 16,849 voters above 100 years of

age are registered in the integrated voter list. Similarly, a total of 5 lakh 60 thousand 425 disabled voters are

registered. Of these, voters choosing the option of home voting will be able to vote through postal ballot from

November 15 to november 19.

During this period, special polling teams will go to the homes of such voters and conduct their voting through

postal ballot with complete secrecy. For those voters who will be absent at home during the first phase of home

voting, special polling teams will visit for the second time on 20th and 21st November. Voting dates for voters

associated with essential services have been fixed from november 19 to november 21.
