Delhi health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj has reacted to the notice received by the election commission from

the aam aadmi party (AAP). Saurabh Bhardwaj said that a few months ago the supreme court had given its

decision on how the Chief election Commissioner would be appointed. He had said that CJI, PM and LoP will

decide this. But, he overturned it. The decision of the supreme court was overturned through a law passed by

the Parliament.

Saurabh Bhardwaj further said, The meaning is clear - the central government appoints someone as Chief

election Commissioner as per its convenience. When this is so, what do you expect from the Chief Election

Commissioner? Secondly, the kind of language bjp uses in its post. The way she uses and says derogatory

things about other political leaders is unique. It is surprising that the election commission cannot see BJP’s posts

and tweets.

Why has the election commission sent the notice?

(AAP) for the alleged derogatory comments made against prime minister Narendra Modi on its social media
