It is said that now a cheap LPG cylinder is available for Rs.450. Is this true? Rumor? Find out what. During the ongoing winter session of the parliament, the government announced in the rajya sabha that it has no intention of providing LPG cylinders for Rs 450 in Rajasthan. No such notification has been issued by the government of India. minister of State for Petroleum Rameshwar delhi said the above while replying to a question asked during question hour in the Rajya Sabha.
Rajya Sabha mp Javed ali Khan questioned the government whether the government has recently announced to provide LPG cylinder for Rs 450 in Rajasthan. He also questioned the government whether the central government is considering providing LPG cylinders at Rs 450 across the country, including Uttar Pradesh. In a written reply to both queries, the minister of State for Petroleum denied any such declaration.
He also said that no announcement has been made by the government of india to provide LPG cylinder for Rs 450 in Rajasthan. Now the question arises as to where the issue of giving LPG cylinder at Rs 450 came from. In fact, assembly elections were recently held in five states namely rajasthan, madhya pradesh, Chhattisgarh, telangana and Majoram.
The bharatiya janata party, the ruling party at the center in rajasthan, in its election manifesto had promised to provide cylinders for Rs 450 to the beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Even in madhya pradesh, the bjp in its election manifesto had promised to provide cylinders for Rs.450. Apart from these two states, bharatiya janata party has won and formed government in Chhattisgarh.
Since the bjp came to power in these three states, the question has started to arise whether the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana across the country including rajasthan and madhya pradesh will get an LPG cylinder for Rs.450. The echoes of BJP's promise in the assembly elections are now echoing in the parliament as well.
In such a situation, it is natural to ask whether the bjp has won these states by promising to provide LPG cylinders for Rs 450. When will the bjp governments of these two states fulfill this promise? But with so many contradictions in it, it will not be easy to fulfill the plans and promises based on BJP's victory in three states.
At present, the central government is providing cylinders to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana at Rs.603. In rajasthan and madhya pradesh, the bjp has promised to provide cylinders for Rs 450 to the beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala scheme. In such a scenario, the question arises whether the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme in rajasthan and madhya pradesh will have to pay Rs 450 and the beneficiaries in other states of the country, including BJP-ruled states, will have to pay an additional Rs 153 and Rs 603 to top up.
